Hey its Mary here, just a quick update for you of what’s been happening since my last update in February…

Life has been really busy with a wedding, more EFMX shows, Red Bull X-Fighter Jams, and MX camps. These have all been a huge success with feature stories in DRD magazine and other media exposure. We have proven our efficiency when taking our complete EFMX ramp setup from Hamilton V8 Supercars to an Auckland Blues rugby game at Eden Park in 4 hours from show to show. We then headed back to the V8’s for more show the following day.
I am enjoying my counselling/physiology studies and have had great opportunities to apply this knowledge while working with youth on the camps and finding it helpful with introducing new riders to the sport of FMX training on the ramps. I joined forces with Broxy Rider Coaching helping out with some of their coaching days.
I was invited back to speak at the Waikato Young Leaders day once again, this was held at the university and involved speaking at six sessions over the day.

Finally it is full steam into next seasons planning making the most of a break in the show calendar over the winter months. You will be hearing more about the NZ FMX Battle Championship event very soon as we seek to take this event to the next level in efforts to grow the sport of FMX here in New Zealand.
